The scary part is when you have score order memorized in general, and then the little changes that individual publishers do, like switching the order of trumpets and fhorns.

Flute/picc
Oboe
I Clarinet in bflat
II Clarinet in bflat
III Clarinet in bflat
Clarinet in Eflat
Bass Clarinet
Soprano Sax
Alto Sax
Tenor Sax
Bari Sax
I Trumpet in bflat
II Trumpet in bflat
III Trumpet in bflat
I Horn in F
II Horn in F
III Horn in F
IV Horn in F
I Trombone
II Trombone
III Trombone
Bass Trombone
Baritone in Treble Clef
Baritone in Bass Clef
Tuba
Timpani
I Precussion
II Precussion
Mallets

Now for some stories that thats out of the way. I really think that there is no use to putting the music away once it is sorted... I was putting away music from my freshman year band class during my senior year. It all comes out of the woodwork all year round...

One last thing- the pubilshers can't agree on a common order. They sometimes like to switch the Tpts and FHorns on us...

If you can't tell, I am a band geek (and proud of it!)
