Celebrity "Appearance" at Cow Chip Ticket Sales!!!!!

A mysteriously rigid but photo-ready Edward Cullen appeared on the bridge late Sunday Evening to help with Cow Chip Bingo Ticket sales.

The day was beastly hot, and with four Masses to sell tickets at this past weekend, the choir was busy and tired and excited and miserable all at the same time.  We took AC and water breaks as often as possible, but the 100 + temps we could feel on the bridge (which doesn't really catch breezes) were unbearable at times.

Spirits remained high, and tickets were sold.

This is a good thing, and we are grateful to the people of St. Richard's for all their generosity and their happy good sense of humor about the whole "business" of Cow Chip.

The good news I have to report is that we are ON TRACK for the event on Saturday and will have waterslide, face painting, concessions (some signature hand made surprises from our gifted bakers in the choir), tshirts for sale, and of course, the star of our show, "CHIPPER" the cow.

Even St. Richard himself couldn't resist getting in on the action:

Down by the nursery, the lucky and apparently sales-gifted Kayla, Mollie, and Mrs. Gill, worked hard in the breezeway.  I'd like to especially thank Mrs. Gill who came to every single Mass to help sell tickets!!!!

So, Saturday will be fun for kids, and fun for us, and less fun for Chipper who I don't have any shade for.  We are still in need of gazebo tents if anyone would like to let us borrow one.

A last thank you needs to go out to the Rankin County Coop which is going to allow us to use their temporary cow fencing to put around our grid so that this is as super random as possible and fair to all who bought tickets.  When the cow goes...well, may the cow be with you!
